directing the art program at a local summer rec camp. After college, in addition to pursuing
freelance work, Megan had a gratifying experience instructing classes at the Center for
Contemporary Art, Arts Council of Princeton, and Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. Classes at
the art centers ranged from child to adult and covered a wide range of concepts and subject
matter providing Megan with the ability to adapt and problem solve. Currently, Megan works as
an Art Restorer and Freelance Artist who constantly seeks out new experiences and daily
curiosities. As a New Jersey artist, she takes inspiration from the nature that surrounds her and
can often be found on local trails with her traveling watercolor set. She works in a variety of
mediums particularly oils, watercolors, and mechanical pencils, finding new ways to capture
dramatic lighting and subtle tones. Her work is often meticulous in nature with repetitive
movements, lines, or brush strokes. She enjoys working in the company of her animals and loves
getting lost in the details. She has also been in juried exhibits throughout New Jersey.
